Crewed Yacht Charters

Many people believe that chartering a boat for vacation is not affordable or just for the rich and famous. Well, that is absolutely not true. Many boats are available for charter for a fraction of what many individuals think.

For example, a family of four living in the mid-west want to go on vacation for a week to a warm location with sand and beaches. They decide to go to Florida on vacation during the month of March. Airline tickets will most likely run about $275 per person roundtrip, car rental another $400 for the week plus another $250 in fuel. The family rents a condo for the week for about $3,000 and decide to dine out for dinner only, having breakfast and lunch in the condo. Dinner for a family of four in a not-so-fancy restaurant will be around $200.

The family decides to visit a couple of places like an amusement park one day, play golf another, and the museum the next. All these places, believe it or not will ring up another $400 – $900 depending on location and place.

Not only do they have to buy their groceries for breakfast and lunch, but they have to cook AND clean as well. Wow, what a vacation already. They come to relax and end up working just as if they had never left home!

Now, let’s look at a Yacht Charter vacation. The same family decides that enough is enough, they are going to relax. They contact a charter broker and the broker matches the family with a yacht where they will settle for one full week with EVERYTHING included. Yes, everything from all meals and snacks, drinks, exotic beaches and islands, starlit nights, water sports that may include SCUBA, snorkeling, water skiing, tubing, kayaking, etc. and best yet, NO COOKING, CLEANING, OR STRESS!

How much you may wonder? Much less than you think. A family of four may be able to do all of the above from about $5,000. Now, this is what I call a VACATION!
